Dear Customer,
Zero Fintech Ltd (“Zero”) the provider of the Zero Sustainable Money App, Personal Account (digital wallet) and Debit Mastercard, of which you are a customer, ceased trading today.
Due to the closure of Zero, your Personal Account and Debit Card will be closed shortly. Your funds are safe and we set out below how you can request them. As your Account and Card issuer, we are notifying you of this action in accordance with your Terms and Conditions, which are available online here: tpl-terms-and-conditions-v11.pdf
Early closure of your mobile app and card
From 23rd March 2026, you will be unable to spend any funds with your card. For ease, we advise you to use your card to withdraw your funds before this date. You should also notify any third parties who regularly credit your Personal Account with funds to make alternative arrangements as soon as possible.
We expect the Zero mobile app (where you log in to view and use your Account) to close on or around 31st March 2026. This means you will be unable to use the Zero app to manage your funds in any way once it closes and no incoming payments will be accepted into your Account. However, you will still have access to your funds after the Zero app stops working and you can arrange to have them sent to you by emailing Customer Services at zero@transactpay.com.
What does this mean for me?
Your Debit Card will be terminated, and will stop working, on 23rd March 2026. Your Personal Account will stop working on or around 31st March 2026, when the Zero app closes.
What happens to the funds in my Zero Personal Account?
Your money is safe.
As the Zero app is due to cease on or around 31st March 2026, but may be sooner, we strongly advise that you transfer your funds out of your Zero Personal Account (using your Debit Card before 23rd March or by making a transfer out) as soon as possible.
If, for whatever reason, you cannot transfer your funds out of your Zero Personal Account before 31st March 2026, please contact customer services at zero@transactpay.com for assistance with returning your funds. We will hold your funds for six years during which time they are available to be returned to you upon your request.
Who do I contact to provide assistance with this?
For any queries that are not a request to receive the funds in your Zero Personal Account (for example, App queries, login queries, statement requests, etc.) please continue to email the general Zero customer service email address at help@zero.co.uk
For requests to receive a withdrawal of your funds to an alternative bank account only, please email zero@transactpay.com.
